Diagnosis could have been better.
No treatment given .
Went to my doctor the next morning and she diagnosed me with a bad case of tonsillitis.
I was given penicillin to be taken 2 tablets 4x per day for 10 days.
Just about clearing up now.

I was seen and out again in approx 20mins and sorted .
I had attended Blackpool Walk in Centre and there was a minimum of a 2 hour wait and my own Dr couldn’t see me for at least a few days.
Used FPC many times before and it is always excellent

I always get good service from this place and all staff are courteous and friendly. The surroundings are kept clean and tidy and it's light and airy which makes it a pleasant experience whilst waiting to be seen.
Suggested improvements
The microphone needs to be taken away as, since Covid restrictions have been lifted, no-one ever uses it.

The girl could not remove a tick as it was too small. She told me to go to vet and buy tick remover and remove the tick by myself which I could not do as it was on my neck. They removed it in a second in Blackpool Victoria A&E.

Maybe get training from Blackpool Victoria on tick removal.
